Masson GS: Inspection of Cast Steel Access Hatches

EnFlux Engineering Ltd. was mandated to perform a visual inspection and condition assessment of two access hatches on the buried penstock. Thickness measurements of the cast steel were recorded and a condition assessment was performed as per API 579. The objective of this project was to determine if the access hatches are suitable for safe operation and to identify the risk associated with operating in the current condition.
