Cameron Falls Wood Stave Penstock Inspection and Replacement

EnFlux Engineering Ltd. was mandated to perform an inspection of the deteriorating wood stave penstock at Cameron Falls Generation Station and to provide a list of recommended means to repair or replace the penstock so the station may be returned to service. EnFlux performed a detailed options study to identify and scope potential repair and replacement options and prepared a Class 4 Cost Estimate for each option for comparison purposes. Recommended options were then ranked based on a criterion developed by EnFlux and Evolugen collaboratively.

Project is ongoing and EnFlux is the Owner’s Engineer for the replacement of the deteriorating wood stave penstock.
